Jon runs a post production company making televisions shows and behind the scenes videos. Jon and his editors spend a ton of time editing and making rough cuts. It can feel overwhelming when they receive client notes requesting multiple string outs with multiple music options. The constraints on their time are real and as a result they can only produce a few options for their clients unless he hires more editors which is costly. Jon approached Agentwire to see if there were any software solutions.
Challenge
Jon knew if he had a way to create lots of rough cuts in a timely manner he could increase his client satisfaction and generate more business opportunities. How could he edit more videos without having to hire more editors which cut into his company’s profits?
Solution
Agentwire worked with Jon’s team to identify their wishlist of features for the ultimate video production software. We then narrowed down the scope to find the most valuable deliverables for a first version. For their work process, transcribing and tagging all the footage to allow for instant search and string out creation was a key value driver.

We then built a custom workflow that allows Jon’s company to ingest almost unlimited video footage and in a matter of minutes. The workflow then chunks, transcribes and tags all the footage. We created a smart agent that acts as an assistant editor to help Jon’s team interact with the software with simple conversational prompts. Jon’s team can direct the agent to retrieve all clips with relevant tags and even create string outs of footage based on themes and concepts in the tags. After deploying this initial beta, we then helped Jon’s team build a product roadmap for future features including: transcoding, syncing audio, video and graphics, versioning and more.
